Burn Care Education and Community Outreach

The Temple Burn Center is deeply committed to advancing burn prevention, education, and early treatment across the region. Our team actively partners with EMS providers, first responders, firefighters, nurses, physicians, and community members to strengthen burn awareness and response at every level.

Temple’s burn specialists regularly participate in community health fairs, safety events, and educational programs, teaching residents practical ways to prevent burns at home and in the workplace.

For healthcare professionals and emergency personnel, the Burn Center provides ongoing training and continuing education through grand rounds, regional and national conferences, and peer-reviewed publications — ensuring that the latest advances in burn care reach providers throughout the tri-state area.

As a certified host site for the Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) program, Temple offers hands-on instruction designed to help first responders and clinicians deliver effective care in the critical first moments after a burn injury.
