Temple Health Web Privacy Policy

This privacy statement has been adopted to address the collection and use of information from Temple University Health System, Inc. (“Temple Health”) websites. This notice applies to any Temple Health webpage and explains our practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of information. Information collected by Temple Health will be used only as outlined in this privacy statement. 

All personally identifiable data that you enter on this site is not sold or given to any third parties. 

Information Gathering

Temple Health’s websites collect two types of information from users:

(See list below) Temple Health uses this information solely for internal purposes, such as seeing what pages are most frequently visited, in order to improve our sites.

  • Internet Protocol (IP) Address 

  • Internet Service Provider

  • Your screen resolution

  • Continued use of our website indicates consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of this information as described in this notice. 

Information Provided by the User

Other than the automatically collected information about your visit described above, or cookies and anonymous identifiers, described below, we may ask you to provide information voluntarily, (through forms or other manual input) in order to make products and services available to you, to maintain and manage our relationship with you, to provide associated services to you, or to better understand and serve your needs.

All of your protected health information, including information you provide on the website, is subject to the Temple Health Privacy Notice under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). The Temple Health Privacy Notice may contain additional provisions relating to the use and disclosure of your information that go beyond the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing

We may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable information with other entities or organizations. The information generated via these cookies about your use of Temple University websites is transmitted to these third-party tools.
