Dr. Schmalbach's priority is to provide patient-centered care for adults with complex head and neck issues, recognizing that the impact reaches far beyond the patient. She is committed to interdisciplinary care and close collaboration with radiation and medical oncology, radiology, endocrinology, dermatology, and speech therapy to ensure unified, comprehensive, state-of-the-art care.

Dr. Schmalbach is a board-certified otolaryngologist with over 10 years of experience. She is nationally recognized for her expertise in head and neck cancers to include skin and thyroid/parathyroid. She holds national positions in the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Head and Neck Society.
