Alumni Updates — Winter 2024

Appointments and Accolades

Jennifer So, MD (Class of 2018). She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the University of Maryland Sleep Laboratory. She also serves on the board for the Maryland Sleep Society and has served on multiple committees at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

Joseph A. Ramzy, MD (Class of 2019). He is the Program Director of the Sleep Fellowship at St Luke’s University Health Network in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. He has also been an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine since 2021.


Maulin Patel, MD (Class of 2021) welcomed his daughter Iyra Bhagat last year. She is currently 16 months old.

Rami Alashram, MD (Class of 2020) and his wife Dina welcomed their second son Yousef last year, he is now 16 months old. Also pictured is Omar who is 7 years old. 

Eneida Harrison, MD (Class of 2020) welcomed Alex 3 months ago. In the picture is Eneida with Henry who is 4 years old and Charlie who is 2. 

In Memoriam

Keely Johnson, MD (Class of 2025)

Keely passed away on Jan. 9, 2024. She joined the Temple Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program in July of 2022 after completing her Internal Medicine residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City, and attending medical school at Ross University School of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson was a compassionate physician and genuinely kind soul. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
