Treatment Philosophy
My approach to patient care includes obtaining a careful patient history of the symptoms, obtaining carefully selected tests to evaluate the patient's symptoms, reviewing the results of the tests with the patient and deciding on the appropriate treatment for the symptoms and disorder together.
I will not be seeing this physician again. It's too bad because I waited months for an appointment and I brought all my records and studies. This doctor is tops in his field but our ability to communicate was awful. I was not examined and he did not seem to know my medical history. My concerns were not addressed and I am confused about the next steps to take in managing my condition. I have no confidence in the care I received.
I had to wait 90 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to see Dr. Parkman.
Professional.
I was referred to Dr. Parkman by Dr. Forde. I detest being sick, going to the doctor-it gives me anxiety and have been dealing with this Issue for the past 2 years. Dr. Parkman has given me hope and answers. Words cannot express how I feel having met him and know there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. I am not out of the words just yet but I see a glimmer and I am so happy. He is patient, beyond knowledgeable, and caring.
Dr. Henry Parkman is an exceptional person and physician. He has improved the life of patients suffering from gastroparesis in an incalculable way.
