Perspective from Henry P. Parkman, MD, Stanley H. Lorber Research Endowment Fund and Chair of Gastroenterology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was featured in a MedPage Today article on results from a phase III trial on tegoprazan, a novel, fast-acting, oral potassium-competitive acid blocker, presented at the American College of Gastroenterology annual meeting. The findings showed patients with non-erosive reflux disease who took once-daily tegoprazan had a significant reduction in heartburn frequency.
