Chestnut Hill Local Interviews Richard Newell and Audrina Abrams about 3D Mammography

The Chestnut Hill Local interviewed Richard Newell, MPT, DPT, President and CEO of Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital, and Audrina Abrams, R.T.(R)(M), (ARRT), Mammography Modality Manager at Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital, about 3D mammography. Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital has offered 3D mammography for more than a decade, but thanks to grant funding from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority, and ongoing support from State Sen. Art Haywood and State Rep. Tarik Khan, will be purchasing new machines that are even more precise. The new 3D mammography machines are high-definition, with improved contrast resolution, and integrate artificial intelligence to enhance image clarity.
