Mokashi, MD, Director of the Aortic Surgery Program at Temple University Hospital and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and James Rory Tucker, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Family & Community Medicine at the Katz School of Medicine and the Temple Owls’ team physician, offered insight to Healthline and the Philadelphia Inquirer following the on-field collapse of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin during a Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest.
