Sabrina Islam, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Estefania Oliveros, MD, MSc, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Katz School of Medicine and Medical Director of the Cardio-Obstetrics Program at Temple University Hospital, were awarded a grant by the American College of Cardiology Pennsylvania Chapter Women In Cardiology Council. The grant was centered in a two-part Narrative Medicine workshop that was run by Michael Vitez, Assistant Director of Narrative Medicine at the Katz School of Medicine and included workshops in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. The American College of Cardiology Pennsylvania Chapter included the event in its latest President’s Message.
