Temple University Hospital and the Gift of Life Donor Program partnered for an event on April 20th in honor of National Donate Life Month. The celebration featured a flag-raising and personal stories of the life-saving power of donation from organ transplant recipients. WHYY and 6ABC highlighted the event, and WHYY included comments from Temple patient and heart transplant recipient Theresa Alexander.
