WellSpan York Hospital hosted representatives from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple Health on July 30th for a campus tour. Earlier in 2025, Temple University’s Board of Trustees formally approved an agreement that the Lewis Katz School of Medicine made with WellSpan Health to open a new regional campus for Temple’s medical school in York County. It will be the second regional campus for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, as the school also enrolls students at the St. Luke’s University Health Network campus in Bethlehem. The Franklin County Free Press highlighted the visit, and Becker’s Clinical Leadership highlighted the agreement between the two entities.
IMPORTANT: Beginning at 8:00 AM on September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus (Broad and Ontario Streets) will no longer provide Labor and Delivery services. All childbirth services will be relocated to our new hospital location.
