Venous News highlighted RESCUE-II study results on the BASHIR™ Endovascular Catheter (THROMBOLEX, Inc.), which was invented by Riyaz Bashir, MD, FACC, Director of Vascular and Endovascular Medicine at Temple University Hospital and Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. The RESCUE-II study evaluated the safety and feasibility of on-the-table pharmacomechanical lysis without postprocedural infusion when treating patients with acute intermediate-risk pulmonary embolism.
