Scott Charles, Trauma Outreach Manager at Temple University Hospital, shared his perspective with the Delaware County Daily Times about a database compiled by Swarthmore College students that tracks the 530 homicides in Delaware County from 2005 through 2019. The incidents were collected from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, journalistic sources and a variety of community partners by students in Professor Lee Smithey’s Gun Violence Prevention course.
