Allen R. Myers, MD, a longtime faculty member who joined the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) in 1978 as a Professor of Medicine and rose to leadership positions including Associate Vice President for Health Sciences and Dean of LKSOM from 1991-1995, passed away on January 15 at the age of 85. The Philadelphia Inquirer published an obituary of Dr. Myers, a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Master of the American College of Rheumatology, who recently established the Allen Myers Endowed Scholarship for students at LKSOM.
