The Philadelphia Inquirer highlighted a new program at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University aimed to give promising Philadelphia students six years of medical-school education with an eye toward careers in healthcare. The initial class of Temple’s Lang Medical Scholars Program is comprised of 32 Philadelphia seventh graders.
