Temple University Hospital recently performed its 1,000th kidney transplant, a significant milestone in the hospital’s history. CBS3 interviewed Kenneth Chavin, MD, MBA, PhD, FACS, Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Program at Temple University Hospital, and patient Michael Profeto, who was living with end stage renal failure since 2010 before the kidney transplant surgery on November 25th.
