Peters Chair and Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Surgeon-in-Chief of Temple Health, co-authored an op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer with David Boardman, Dean of the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University. The opinion piece called on the media to show photos of the bodies of shooting victims to help the public understand the damage that occurs from a weapon like an AR-15.
