Joseph D’Orazio, MD, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM), and David O’Gurek, MD, Associate Professor of Family & Community Medicine at LKSOM, spoke to The Temple News about the Temple Recovery Using Scientific Treatments Clinic that they are co-directing at Temple University Hospital. Temple received a $1 million state grant in July to create a patient-centered hub-and-spoke model of medication-assisted treatment programs. The grant is part of the state’s new Pennsylvania Coordinated Medication-Assisted Treatment (PAC-MAT) Program.
