The Temple News interviewed Denise Salerno, MD, FAAP, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and Shums Lareef, a first-year medical student, about WellSpan Health and the Katz School of Medicine signing a memorandum of understanding to establish a new regional campus in York County. The proposed arrangement will add the second regional campus to Temple’s medical school. The first class of approximately 40 students would begin in August 2027 and graduate in May 2031.
