Temple Health and Temple University Hospital were recently recognized by the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) as part of the annual HAP Donate Life Pennsylvania Hospital Challenge. The challenge encourages Pennsylvania hospitals to increase organ, eye and tissue donation awareness within their hospitals and communities. This year, 113 Pennsylvania hospitals participated in the challenge. Temple Health earned first place in the Gift of Life Donor Program’s Top Performers for Health Systems for Eastern Pennsylvania category, and Temple University Hospital earned second place in the Top Hospitals category.
