May 12th was Nurses Night at the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, a Temple Health-sponsored event to celebrate Nurses & Hospital Week. Aimee O’Connor, RN, an ICU nurse at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus, was interviewed live during the game’s broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia about her experience working in health care and offered advice for aspiring nurses. Nursing leaders were also on hand at the game conducting real-time job interviews, and Temple gave away free City Connect scrub tops to the first 3,500 attendees.
