Heller, MD, Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Temple University Hospital, offered insight to Reuters Health about an observational study published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology on the safety of endoscopy in individuals who have had a recent myocardial infarction (heart attack).
