New research from Mary F. Barbe, PhD, Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology and Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM), and colleagues such as primary collaborator Steven N. Popoff, PhD, the John Franklin Huber Chair and Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology at LKSOM, shows for the first time in animals that it may be possible to undo the damage caused by fibrosis and restore muscle strength.
