Joshua Johnson, host of the “1A” show on WAMU 88.5, Washington, D.C.’s NPR station, participated in a question-and-answer interview with The Atlantic. In it, Johnson described his experience with the Minority Access to Research Careers program at Temple, where he was able to work in research labs, shadow researchers and participate in clinical rotations at Temple University Hospital.
