Practice Update highlighted the RESCUE trial, a clinical study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the BASHIR Endovascular Catheter as a novel therapy for pulmonary embolism, as its “story of the week,” and included commentary provided by Riyaz Bashir, MD, FACC, RVT, Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of Vascular and Endovascular Medicine at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Bashir is co-inventor of the catheter.
