Temple Health celebrated the grand opening of the new Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Space at Temple University Hospital on Tuesday, April 2. The new space symbolizes Temple Health’s commitment to holistic healing and to the importance of addressing the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff. The new space welcomes individuals from all faith backgrounds and walks of life and was made possible by donations from Temple’s Professional Medical Staff to Temple Health’s Acres of Diamonds Gala fundraisers and by a generous personal donation from Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Temple University Health System, in honor of his late father, John P. Young. 6ABC, NBC10 and FOX29 highlighted the grand opening.
