A Philadelphia Inquirer article on an analysis released by the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council, a government agency that analyzes health care finances and quality, featured the 15 Pennsylvania hospitals that received at least 20 percent of their patient revenue from Medicaid in 2024. This number includes Temple University Hospital and five more Philadelphia-area hospitals (plus Crozer-Chester Medical Center).
IMPORTANT: As of 8:00 AM on September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus (Broad and Ontario Streets) will no longer provide Labor and Delivery services. All childbirth services will be relocated to our new hospital location.
