Carson, RN, BSN, MHA, Senior Vice President of Population Health and of Clinical Integration at Temple University Health System and CEO of the Temple Center for Population Health, LLC, and Patrick Vulgamore, Project Manager for the Temple Center for Population Health, spoke with the Philadelphia Business Journal about the Health System’s 2020 Gage Award Honorable Mention for improving population health. The award, from America’s Essential Hospitals, recognized Temple’s opioid use disorder program and hub-and-spoke model of delivery, which its Center for Population Health developed in collaboration with the city of Philadelphia, the state of Pennsylvania, and community organizations.
