Philadelphia Business Journal Highlights First Year Growth at Temple Women & Families Hospital

Sharon Kurfuerst, EdD, OTR/L, FACHE, Executive Director of Temple Women & Families Hospital, and Tanise Branche, MD, Medical Director of Labor and Delivery at Temple Health, spoke with the Philadelphia Business Journal about the growth at Temple Women & Families since its official opening in September 2025. The story highlighted the 2,054 births at Temple in fiscal 2026, an increase of 12.5% year over year. In addition, 82% of women who received prenatal care at Temple subsequently delivered at Temple in fiscal 2026, a 32% growth year over year compared to fiscal 2025.
