The Philadelphia Business Journal and Becker’s Hospital Review reported Temple University Health System posting positive operating income for Fiscal Year 2024. In an interview with the Philadelphia Business Journal, Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President & CEO of Temple Health, highlighted programs which attract patients from across the country with complex medical conditions, including lung transplant and pulmonary hypertension, and the Temple Women & Families Campus, which anticipates opening to inpatient services in early 2025 and is already open to outpatient services such as OB/GYN, pediatrics, family & community medicine and radiology. The Philadelphia Business Journal article also included comments from Gerald P. Oetzel, MBA, Temple Health’s Chief Financial Officer, and Michael DiFranco, CPA, Chief Accounting Officer.
