The Pennsylvania Medical Society has recognized Delana Wardlaw, MD, who practices at Temple Physicians, Inc. at Nicetown, and her identical twin sister Dr. Elana McDonald, with PAMED’s 2023 Voluntary Service Award. The award recognizes their work as the Twin Sister Docs to increase awareness of health care disparities and help close the gap of inequality in health care, particularly during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. They will receive the award in October during PAMED’s annual meeting.
