Donahoo Professor of Surgery; Surgical Director of the William Maul Measey Institute for Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University; and Attending Surgeon at Fox Chase Cancer Center, presented data on marijuana use during panel discussions at the virtual American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress 2020. Dr. Daly emphasized the need for surgeons to understand how to manage patients who use marijuana, and for patients to understand the potential risks and benefits of its use.
