Will Parks, starting safety for the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia native, held the first Will Parks Football Camp for kids 6-17 years old at Benjamin L. Johnson Stadium in East Mount Airy. Parks has partnered with Philadelphia CeaseFire, an anti-violence program based in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine’s Center for Bioethics, Urban Health and Policy, in an effort to stop gun violence in the city. Philadelphia CeaseFire is directed by Marla Davis-Bellamy, JD, MGA. CBS3 covered the event.
