Newsletter Highlights Survey and #RealCollegeHBCU Coalition between Lewis Katz School of Medicine’s Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice and the Center for the Study of Historically Black Colleges and Universities

The Lumina Foundation’s newsletter, which explores the intersection of race and higher education, highlighted a fall 2020 survey of Historically Black College and University (HBCU) students and basic needs insecurity conducted by the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and the Center for the Study of Historically Black Colleges and Universities at Virginia Union University. It also spotlighted their launch of the #RealCollegeHBCU coalition. Atif Qarni, Managing Director of External Affairs for the Hope Center, was quoted in the newsletter.
