The Rockland County Times spoke with 21-year-old Megan Bosack, who donated her kidney to 17-year-old Evelyn Bautista on April 7th. The two, who didn’t know each other’s identities, shared a memorable first meeting at Temple University Hospital (TUH) on April 25th. Kenneth Chavin, MD, MBA, PhD, FACS, Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Program at Temple University Hospital, was interviewed about Ms. Bosack’s diagnosis and treatment of nutcracker syndrome.
