Karhadkar, MD, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and colleagues that examined short- and long-term outcomes of simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplants in overweight and obese patients. The study’s results were reported during a poster session at the virtual American Transplant Congress 2020.
