Labor contracts negotiated between Temple University Hospital and the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals (PASNAP) have been ratified by the union membership. The new contracts (one for each of the two bargaining units: nurses and techs/allied professionals) will be in effect from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2025. Agreement on these new contracts was achieved because of mutual commitment to a sustained process of contract negotiations. Multiple media outlets, including Becker’s Hospital Review, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Business Journal, WHYY, the Philadelphia Tribune, PhillyVoice and 6ABC highlighted the new labor contracts between TUH and PASNAP.
