CBS News Philadelphia and Fox 29 attended a Community Baby Shower event at Temple University, presented by Sen. Sharif Street in partnership with Temple Health. Temple providers and other vendors gave out free baby gear, including bassinets and diapers, as well as counseling assistance on prenatal care, postpartum care, diet & exercise, health care coverage and financial counseling. Lakisha R. Sturgis, RN, BSN, MPH, CPHQ, Director of Community Care Management, Population Health at Temple Health, and Katherine Levins, JD, MBA, Vice President of Public Policy and Government Affairs at Temple Health, were interviewed at the event.
