Bryce McKibben, Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy at the Hope Center for College, Community and Justice at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, spoke with Marketplace about a new initiative that aims to increase transparency about the real costs associated with attending college. The US Government Accountability Office estimates that more than 90% of American colleges either understate the net price of attendance in scholarship letters or don’t state it at all.
