Major Japanese TV Network Features Temple’s Dr. Yoshiya Toyoda

Yoshiya Toyoda, MD, PhD, Professor of Surgery and the William Maul Measey Chair of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University; Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery, Surgical Director of Thoracic Transplantation and Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at Temple University Hospital; and Co-Surgical Director of the Temple Heart and Vascular Institute, was the focus of a medical-themed TV show called “Clinic with Attending Physician” that aired on TV Tokyo, one of the major Japanese TV networks. Dr. Toyoda’s segment highlighted his work and accomplishments at Temple, and featured recordings of four surgeries and interviews with colleagues as well as six patients. Dr. Toyoda’s segment begins at 0:31:59 in the video and runs until 1:06:30.
