The five-year, $13.5 million joint grant received by the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) and Hunter College of the City University of New York from the National Cancer Institute remains in the news. The Temple News interviewed Grace X. Ma, PhD, Associate Dean for Health Disparities, Director of the Center for Asian Health, Laura H. Carnell Professor, and Professor of Clinical Sciences at LKSOM. Dr. Ma is the principal investigator on the grant. The award underwrites the creation of the Temple University Fox Chase Cancer Center and Hunter College Regional Comprehensive Cancer Health Disparities Partnership.
