Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, The Marjorie Joy Katz Dean of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and Scott Charles, MAPP, FCPP, Trauma Outreach Manager for Temple University Hospital (TUH), joined Episode 3 of KYW Newsradio’s Ricochet podcast. The Ricochet podcast is a mini-series that examines the gun violence crisis in the United States through stories of unsolved shootings in Philadelphia. Dean Goldberg discussed the physical impact of what bullets do to bodies, while Scott Charles discussed TUH’s Trauma Victim Support Advocates Program. Episode 3 also shares the story of Luis Berrios, who is a TUH patient and was shot back in November 2018. The episode begins around the 2-minute mark and lasts until about 31:34.
