Lehigh University Athletics profiled Shannon Wright, MD, a first-year resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Wright ran track and field and cross-country and received her undergraduate degree from Lehigh University. As a student-athlete at Lehigh, she was diagnosed with a benign brain mass and underwent surgery. The experience was a factor in her decision to attend medical school and specialize in emergency medicine.
