Jiji Thomas, MBBS, Manager of Special Procedures at the Temple Lung Center, spoke with Medscape about new research that found approximately 20 percent of patients who undergo bronchoscopic lung volume reduction lose the effects of the treatment within two years. The research was presented at the ATS conference.
