Bryce McKibben, Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy at the Hope Center for College, Community and Justice at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered insight to Inside Higher Ed on the FAFSA Simplification Act, the long-awaited overhaul of the federal aid application system. McKibben helped to write and negotiate the act while working with U.S. Sen. Patty Murray. The act was the biggest overhaul to the federal financial aid policy in decades.
