Healio Highlights Research Presented at ERS by Dr. Parth Rali on Findings From Real-World Propensity-Matched Analysis on Sotatercept

Healio highlighted research presented at ERS by Parth M. Rali, MD, FCCP, Director of the Temple University Health System Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) Program and Section Temple Lung Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program, on the findings from a real-world propensity-matched analysis on sotatercept. The analysis looked at sotatercept use in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension and the safety and utilization across phenotype groups. Rali emphasized the most notable finding in the analysis was “the degree to which clinicians are already adopting sotatercept across a broader spectrum of PH phenotypes in routine practice, which reflects an unmet clinical need,” and that the findings “parallel the growing scientific interest in extending sotatercept” across phenotypes.
