Healio Highlights Research Presented at ERS by Dr. Gerard Criner on Tezepelumab Vs. Placebo in Adults With Moderate to Very Severe Eosinophilic COPD

Healio highlighted research presented at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress by Gerard J. Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, on the effects of tezepelumab vs. placebo in adults with moderate to very severe eosinophilic COPD. Patients who received tezepelumab vs. placebo had less healthcare resource utilization; and fewer patients on tezepelumab vs. placebo received systemic corticosteroids for COPD exacerbations.
