Christian Cardillo, MD, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at the Temple Lung Center who will join the team as an Assistant Professor at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University after graduation this summer, participated in a video interview with HCPLive at the ATS International Conference on his research which found elevated eosinophil counts near conception are strongly and independently associated with increased asthma exacerbation during pregnancy. This may aid in identifying pregnancy patients at higher risk for exacerbations and inform closer monitoring and preventive strategies. Cardillo also conducted an interview with Healio.
