The Lewis Katz School of Medicine held a graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 on Friday, May 8th at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. 6abc highlighted the story of one graduate: 27-year-old Phyllis Parkansky. Parkansky followed in her mother's medical footsteps by attending the Katz School of Medicine, and the two shared a full-circle moment on the graduation stage when her mother, Dr. Inessa Parkansky, Class of 1999, hooded her.
