Temple University Hospital and the Gift of Life Donor Program partnered for an event in honor of National Donate Life Month. The part-virtual/part on-site celebration featured personal stories of the life-saving power of donation from an organ transplant recipient and donor family member, as well as a flag-raising to increase awareness about the importance of organ donation. Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Temple University Health System and TUH, delivered remarks. FOX29 and 6ABC highlighted the event on their broadcasts.
